Looks like someone "jumpered" one of the connections, I'm not sure that was supposed to be connected like that-it looks wrong to me. And underneath-where the squiggly pattern of IC board traces are-look pretty messed up-I would try to clean whatever junk is on there off, but carefully with mild alcohol or just a plain damp cloth. Someone did a very sloppy job with a soldering pen. Unless you are very skilled with soldering, I think its time for Casio to repair this, as the previous owner might have done more damage than good.
