Jokeyman123
Could you fill me in as to how, without a wah-wah pedal? Of course its a filter with resonance I think-but I'm interested in how you got this vocal type sound. Can do this with the sy77, but on the Casios-I'll try it on the XW-P1 and the PX560 if it is possible.
Brad Saucier
It's actually DSP in this case. It's done by controlling the manual wah parameter in either the auto-wah or distortion DSP effects. On the PX-5S, a switch type pedal can trigger a timed envelope that ramps between on and off. This envelope is used to control that manual wah parameter via the pedal. Hugh O Kelly
I only know a about the PX5s and there is still a lot to learn. I used a synth sound,2 Clavinets and sax. On Facebook in the Casio PX5s and 560 site is an explanation of how I got the Wah wah sound. But the vocal sound works well when it’s down a few octaves Not bad eh ? I just noticed Brad gave you a lovely explanation
Jokeyman123
Thanks, both. Not sure I can duplicate with other Casios, worth trying. And I have plenty of time, were just ordered a complete "shelter in place" very sad times.
