dogmusic
Hello, I recently bought an X5000 and have been using its sequencer. I can't figure out how to merge two tracks into a third track so I can have the combined contents of the first two tracks. I see in the manual for the WK-7600 that this operation is possible. I am hoping the X5000 can also do this but that it's a hidden feature since the manual doesn't mention it. Anyone know if it is indeed possible? Thanks for your help. Brad Saucier
Hi Phillip. Unfortunately track merge is not possible on the CTX series.

That's too bad they couldn't have carried over that feature. It can't have required that much more processing power if the WK-7600 could do it. The X5000 sequencer is peculiarly implemented. Much attention to song manipulation and event data editing but missing the necessary actions for track construction. I wish they could improve it with a firmware update but I know they won't. Oh well, back to the computer....
