Maurix
my PX5S Keys are going to be unusable lot of rattling and clacking makes playing the PX5S a nightmare. nothing is broken but when the keys come up the force of the Key is making noise against the housing....some keys are really wobbling. i am in the mood to open it and to a repair. My question did some put some extra felt in it ? having same problem? what kind of Grease is used inside the PX5s does anyone repaired this and have some tipps ? Maurix
well did a complete disassembling and cleaning of all parts from the Keys also i have added some felt under der Hammers to prevent those rumors. now it really feels tight and better. Not silent as my TP10 fatar but very nice again.
Jokeyman123
I have posts in the PX350 user area showing how I did it with that Casio-which has the identical mechanism. I added felt under and over-there were 2 strips you may have noticed-one is needed for the key up action and the other is for key down-when the key lands. I added felt to both-the top was much more difficult to do. I've also done this with an older PX575 which was alot easier. Definitely can make a difference.
