Abel 123
So every time I step on my sustain pedal, it makes this weird sound, like a soft blow or something is being crushed down but quietly and I can hear it when I play it. Is there any I can get rid of it by anyway? Please help
Brad Saucier
That's an adjustable damper noise effect. You can turn it off or lower it. Which PX-S model do you have? The instructions are different for each model, although it is covered in the manual, called "damper noise".

Brad Saucier
Use the function keys to adjust the effect. You'll see a chart in the manual that shows which keys will adjust the damper noise effect.

Joe Muscara
No, that's different. You want to adjust or turn off Damper Noise, which is a combination of the Sound Mode button and a keyboard key.

SteffenB
Hi there, I have the same problem... Only since today though and for the grand piano sounds. I have the Px-s3000. I never had this problem and it didn't even go away by doing a factory reset. Can someone please explain to me how exactly I can undo this again? Thanks a lot in advance! You can adjust the amount from 1-4 or Off. This will affect all the tones which use damper noise, which I assume is just the pianos. Setting it to "Tone" will have each Tone use its individually preset amount.
