Arpeggiater and step-sequencer doesn't work.

Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and I bought myself a G1, but

I can't get the step sequencer and the arpeggiater to function. When I open a sound, which the arpeggiater is already programmed with by default, I have to turn off the arpeggiater switch to hear the sound. The start/stop switch of the step sequencer does nothing, does not light a LED when you press the switch I don't know if it's a defect or if I'm missing something? I've read the instructions and Casio's YouTube videos, but I get the step-sequencer and arpeggiater working.

What am I doing wrong

 

I've alsof got other synths having an arpeggiater and/or a step-sequencer, maybe the G1 does not work the same as the other synths?

 

I hope someone can tell me, what I'm doing wrong or if the G1 have a defect?

Welcome to the forums Ray!  Your MIDI sync mode is set to slave.  Change it to master or off and restart the keyboard.

Ik hope It will work, I bought the G1 for it"s arpeggiater and step-sequencer. Also for the sounds, but more because of the arp and step.

I think the G1 is great, but I allready have synths with awesome  and better sounds.

Hi Brad, it was the MIDI sync mode, I've changed it tot Master.
