Theov39
When I plug in my CT-X5000 into my Behringer K450FX the sound continues to play from the keyboard speakers and nothing comes from the amp, although I have the AMP volume up. The connections are: LINE-OUT to LINE IN (1). Does anyone know why this is occurring? Also, tt works using the PHONES jack but I assume this is lower quality or not so loud. Is that true? Thank you! PS Yes, I have read the manual.
Brad Saucier
What type of cables are you using? TS or TRS? Are you using left and right, or mono? What position is your volume knob on the keyboard? The keyboard does not have any menu settings that can disable the line outputs. They will output sound as long as the volume knob is up. Theov39
Thanks for that Brad! That was the issue. The Line out does not disable the internal speakers so I couldn't hear the external amp. I plugged a dummy headphone plug in the PHONES socket to turn them off. Plus I discovered you have to turn the keyboard way up to hear it through the external amp. I am using MONO (L/R) and a cable with TSR jacks at both ends. Should really be using TS but it seems to be working now.
