I own both too and i have not noticed this. In fact, the sound seems 'bigger and better' on the CT-X5000, whihc is not surprising given the bigger amp and speakers.

Sorry, I meant the registrations 2-8 in BANK ONE, the same bank where I saved the registration. The other banks are unaffected.

Brad, I loaded the tones like you suggested and it all went well BUT after I loaded the Registration to Bank 0101, all the tones I had previously registered under 2-8 disappeared and it defaulted to the factory loaded tones for those registration buttons. Why do you think this is? Those that registration independently control the rotary speaker function (regardless of whihc tome you are in) or ONLY for the new tones that you provided? Thank you!

Thanks Brad. That is really helpful. Love the sound of the CT-X5000 but really struggling with the menu system and manual. Wish someone who write a layman's guide to the CT-X5000 the same way you see guide books written for particular cameras. Thanks for that Brad! That was the issue. The Line out does not disable the internal speakers so I couldn't hear the external amp. I plugged a dummy headphone plug in the PHONES socket to turn them off. Plus I discovered you have to turn the keyboard way up to hear it through the external amp. I am using MONO (L/R) and a cable with TSR jacks at both ends. Should really be using TS but it seems to be working now.

When I plug in my CT-X5000 into my Behringer K450FX the sound continues to play from the keyboard speakers and nothing comes from the amp, although I have the AMP volume up. The connections are: LINE-OUT to LINE IN (1). Does anyone know why this is occurring? Also, tt works using the PHONES jack but I assume this is lower quality or not so loud. Is that true? Thank you! PS Yes, I have read the manual.
