SYOTR
Anyone using a looper pedal on these Casio models? I found a nice one for cheap. Not sure which output to connect it to, headphones or line out.
Jokeyman123
What specifically are you using for a looper pedal-do you mean an echo device, like the old Echoplex, or the newer digital looping pedals? The line outputs might be too low a signal level depending on pedal-the headphones might be too hot, and distort-experimentation in order there. I use a Line 6 Leslie pedal more designed for a guitar input-but it works fine with the PX560 and other Casio keyboard line outputs into a digital recording deck or my compact mixing desk. SYOTR
The looper pedal is a Boss RC-3 Loop station. I plan to use it to do live looping and overdubbing. I am currently connecting from headphone output to a Boss Fv-500L volume pedal to a Yamaha MG06 mixer to my home theater system.
SYOTR
Got it working. I placed it between the Yamaha mixer and the amplifier. It seems to work as expected. This will be fun to learn.
Jokeyman123
Good, most mixers will match the impedance of a typical pedal, should be a good clean signal. One of my favorite videos is on Youtube-it is jaco pastorious on stage live, doing a duet by himself on the bass with a looping pedal, not sure what he used, but he was a genius musician. If you can find it, the performance is inspiring no matter what you play. My brother is a bass player, he sent me the link.
