mozart
Does anyone know how long the PXS 3000 will hold it's memory (presets etc) when powered off / not plugged in to the mains. I'm not gigging at the moment (due to Covid) so the keyboard has been sitting under the bed for six months. Do I need to get it out occasionally and connect it to the mains to keep the battery charged? Or is it just a button cell like a CR2032 that will eventually need to be replaced? Brad Saucier
It will store settings indefinitely. Memory is flash based, similar to an SD card. It does not need battery backup like older products.
mozart
Oh that's awesome thanks. Just out of interest. Is there a way to do a complete back up ...to a memory stick or similar?
Brad Saucier
Yes, a USB flash drive can be used to backup all user data.
