BrettMoon
I'm using the USB A to USB B cable to link my piano with my PC instead of using MIDI with an audio interface. On Ableton, I'm getting a signal from the piano but I can't select it as my input device without the proper driver installed. I just need help finding it. My current driver is 10.0.18362.1 from Windows.
Brad Saucier
To be clear, are you looking for an audio connection or MIDI? USB is for MIDI only. It does not carry audio from the PX-560. Windows supplies the driver for the USB connection, so it should be good to go.
BrettMoon
That's what it was! I brain farted pretty hard and was trying to select it as the input for audio rather than for MIDI. I'm getting audio on the PC now, I appreciate the help! Any chance you know why I've got so much latency? Running a powerful CPU and 32gb RAM so I don't think it's a hardware issue, but it's sitting around .5 seconds on latency.
Brad Saucier
It's probably the audio driver. Try using an ASIO driver. Asio4All is free and usually cures the issue.
