toalexe
Hello, I got PX 5S that I like a lot, I would love an advice - what is the best pedal unit, or separate pedals I can find for this piano. I am a jazz pianist so all the possibilities like in acoustic piano is welcome, as well as choices to control the Velocity, organ parameters, possibility to assign on/off etc.. What is maximum possibilities to control with foot pedal and what to choose... I do work with Ableton as well.. right now I have a simple sustain pedal styled as piano pedal. Best , Alexei
Brad Saucier
Your current sustain pedal, as long as it works well for you, is the best pedal. It can be assigned to control any parameter the knobs or sliders can control.

Thanks Brad, but is is possible to use the 2 or 3 pedal unit as on acoustic piano, and another on/off pedal to control assigned parameter? And what kind of pedal would you recommend for controlling organ sounds, like rotary speed..
Brad Saucier
The PX-5S will accept up to 2 standard on/off sustain pedals. Unfortunately it is not designed for piano style 3 pedal units.
toalexe
Well, this is a very important information, thanks. Then i stick to my sustain pedal, and if you can please advice what kind of pedal is best to use for controlling organ and other sounds - is it just any or there is maybe a best one? Brad Saucier
Any pedal will work fine, as long as it is a standard on/off switching pedal with a standard TS plug.
