jpmunoz
Trying to use the Yamaha FC4A Pedal with the PXS3000. The polarity is reversed and I have tried everything. The only thing that works is the "plug it into the expression pedal port and then mess with the settings" method. Is there any way to fix this? What pedal is comparable to buy if there is no fix..? Thanks!
Brad Saucier
You will need a pedal of the correct switch type, or a universal pedal with a reversible switch. Casio SP-20 is compatible. Casio also has a portable 3 pedal unit which has been very popular, model SP-34.
Rod Tompkins
M-Audio makes an affordable switchable pedal that will work for all your keyboards. I have one and can confirm it works with the PX-S3000. Yamaha and Roland pedals will not work properly with Casio keyboards. I know because I have way too many in my closet and they don't work. 😭 I have the SP-34 triple-pedal unit which Brad mentioned and I like it very much. It's the only way to get half-pedaling. It also frees up the damper and expression pedal jacks to be used for a number of useful functions.
