bjr
Hi all, Recently purchased this keyboard, loving it so far! I'm wondering is it possible to save settings like release/attack/other parameters I may have linked to my sliders or knobs. They don't save when I write to stage or tone settings. I've tried the devices input itself and the PC edit but no luck. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Thanks.
Brad Saucier
Welcome to the forums! Just about everything can be saved. For things like attack and release, you will need to go to edit mode to edit the tone itself, rather than use the sliders. Effects will usually save when done by sliders, but not tone edits. bjr
Thanks Brad! Does this mean for a hex layer with 6 oscillators I will need to change the release for each one? Or is there a way to do it for the entire tone? I'm hoping there's a way to do it using the latter method 😂
Brad Saucier
There is an adjustment that controls all 6 layers. On the piano, press edit, tone, layer edit, then use the zone minus button to change from L1 to ALL.
bjr
Thanks so much! At first that wasn't working for me, but I didn't realise that after saving the tone you then have to save the save the stage setting to use that new tone! All makes sense now, thanks for your time!
Brad Saucier
The stage setting will actually save your tones edits, for use with that stage setting alone. No need to save it as a user tone, unless you want the tone for other stage settings as well.
