30SWG
The MZ X500 is a fantastic keyboard with amazing variations made available by Casio's brilliant engineers. I think it may now be possible to enhance its vast capabilities to tackle producing magnificent Theatre organ sounds now that the seemingly impossible obstacle of a hundred or more stops/pistons has been solved. See TTT V3 Sonority midi module . This plus a Bluetooth USB XXL Expander enables wireless connection to a 10 inch touch screen android tablet which acts as a touch screen stop/piston selector including layering of 6 additional ranks and couplers plus enhancements. My question is, is it possible to turn off the local Casio internal sound generator so that only the midi theatre organ sounds are produced from the midi theatre organ sounds in the module without Casio's normal sounds being produced also? Mind you Casio's 16 pads would be great for toy counter sounds! Cheers 30SWG Australia
Brad Saucier
Press menu and go to MIDI settings. Local control is in there.
30SWG
Thanks Brad and also to Casio Overseas support. This is fantastic news and allows a Casio MZ X500 to be played as a full theatre Organ using true samples from the ranks of the famous UK Blackpool Tower at a fraction of the price!!
