Chris Barnes
I've been trying to hook up my CTK-2080 to my computer using a standard USB AB Cable. The computer runs on Windows 10, and the two programs that I am using to test the midi input are Audacity and LMMS. Windows recognizes the 2080 as an audio device, but when I connect it to audacity and press record, it does not allow me to as I do not have a recording device, and when I hooked it up to LMMS, I got it to work briefly but could not replicate the results after I shut off and turned on the CTK-2080. I followed the manual in Casio support exactly, but could not get the CTK-2080 to work consistently. Am I missing a driver or not putting the correct settings on my Casio? Brad Saucier
The USB to host connection on all Casio products is for MIDI only, not audio. Audacity does not support MIDI instruments.
