BubbleMoth
Hi!! I recently purchased a CDP-S100 and when I use headphones on it, there is a constant hiss. Adjusting the volume does not affect the volume of the hiss, but it does go away when the device is turned off. is this normal?
Brad Saucier
What type of headphones are connected? Is anything connected to the USB port or audio input?
Piotr W
It may be related to headphones with too high impedance. Use headphones with impedance of 16 or 32 Ohm. If I am using a cheap headphones from my smartphone, the volume is low and I can hear the hiss which is not the case when I use professional headphones. The higher impedance the lower volume.
