Problem transfer liryc

Recommended Posts

hi, I have a problem with the connection to APP Liryc Creator.
Once connected, the app connects to the instrument, I can even rename it, but after creating new words, I can't transfer them. It takes a long time, the instrument starts the procedure, but shows the error "Check the connection between the instrument and the smart device, and try again."

My cable usb is ok.

I can play it in garage band and in other applications it is visible.
I even tried on iphone 11 with original usb adapter and always transfer error.

?:)

The error message usually means something is faulty with the cabling.  I have a cable which shows a connection in the app, but it's not stable enough to perform reliable lyric transfers, and often fails.  Replacing with a higher quality cable solved it.  For Apple products, it's usually better to purchase official Apple branded cables and adapters.

Are you absolutely sure you selected "CT-S1000V" on the SAVE screen?  When I first got my S1000V I got the error that you described when I tried to transfer lyrics from the app to the S1000V. I wrongly assumed that the app would default the save location to the S1000V, but I subsequently found out it was trying to save to the phone's downloads folder (that was the default save location). I tried again except this time I ensured that I selected "CT-S1000V" on the save screen (as shown in Brad's post above) before saving/ transferring. When I did this, the lyrics transferred fine.

I think I missed selecting the keyboard as the save destination on my first attempt, and I cannot get the app to prompt me for the choice again. I can DELETE with no problem (tested by deleting HAPPY CHRISTMAS) but transfer is failing. Any idea how to reset? This is Android btw

Note that I un-installed the lyric app and reinstalled, and It worked....once only. As soon as I tried to send another (long or short) lyric, I no longer got the prompt to select.a destination for the file.

What exactly are you seeing after pressing transfer?  If your phone/tablet has a file manager app installed such as "Files by Google" or other file manager apps, the phone/tablet should automatically open the file manager app.  In the file manager, you should find a menu to select CT-S1000V as the save destination.  This should be the case each time you transfer, not only the first time.

Yeah that's the thing. I hit Transfer and the screen just refreshes. Nothing, no choices.

I got it to work one more time after disconnecting everything and restarting the phone and the keyboard, then it was back to the same behavior

On my GalaxyS22, when it did work, the file manager showed the keyboard and what seemed to be a directory under it. Does it matter what level I save the lyric to? Do I need to spend $13 on a cable rather than $6?

It sounds like something on your Android device may be interrupting the process.  Do you have other MIDI apps installed?  Have you tried installing a different file manager other than the stock Samsung app?

There is another option other than a cable, but it may still require the file manager to open.  The "transfer to other" button will save the file to an Android storage location, can be a USB flash drive.  The keyboard can load a lyric file from the flash drive.
