LisaO
Hi Everyone, Help a newbie out please. I've finally turned on my PX 360 after about a year - and it is exactly one tone out. I play a C at 440 it reads as a D on an external digital tuner Transposition is not on anywhere I have gone through the troubleshooting of the manual and checked them all off I have done a factory reset - 3 times I have left overnight unplugged (as someone suggested) Still no joy. Any suggestions? Thanks, Lisa
Brad Saucier
Have you checked the pitch bender? Is it working properly?
LisaO
Hi Brad, I've never used the pitch bender before just now (I just use it as a trad. piano) - But - I did read somewhere here on the forums about troubleshooting tuning and the pitch bender so gave it a go. I am not sure about the other sounds, but, when just using normal grand piano - no, it does not work (is it supposed to? I assumed it was for brass/guitar sound effects)
Brad Saucier
Yes, the pitch bender should working with all tones, including piano. Try running it all the way up and down several times while playing various tones. If it doesn't have any effect, it may need servicing. LisaO
Thanks Brad - I just went in and turned the pitch bender 'off' (set it to 0) and now the keyboard is in tune. While not ideal it achieves the result I was after.
