Marie W
I bought a Celviano AP-260 a couple years ago, and I purchased a subscription to Piano Marvel to use with it, using the MIDI cord. It worked great on my laptop and on my iPad. A few months ago it quit working. Nothing will recognize when I plug in the midi cord. I replaced the midi cord, and same thing. When I hold down the Function button and the MIDI key for settings, I get no tone like I do when I change the local, or other settings. I have done a reset on the piano a few times, unplugged it for several hours, and nothing. It's like the MIDI setting inside the piano itself has stopped working. Any suggestions for help with this? It's super frustrating not being able to continue learning and playing with music software.
Brad Saucier
Are you also unable to set USB mode on the piano to storage mode and transfer files from the piano? On your laptop, assuming it's Window's, when set to MIDI mode, open device manager in Windows and look under sound video and game controllers, do you see Casio USB MIDI?
