Sonnylo Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 Hi, I'm primarily using the PX5S as a controller keyboard for the Yamaha MOXF6. If I transpose the MOXF (using the dedicated transpose buttons - hopefully Casio implement this in their next stage piano/keyboard) this data does not transmit to the PX5S. I need to go in and alter that on the PX5S itself. Anyone any idea on how to send the likes of the transpose data via midi? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Brad Saucier Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 Why are you using transpose buttons on the Yamaha? Easier? PX-5S can be transposed by MIDI with a RPN message. If your other keyboard can be programmed to send that, it may be possible. If not, a slider or knob on the PX-5S can be programmed to do it.
