Shocktech
I wanted to create a piano-strings patch with the ability to control the 2nd layer strings volume with the expression pedal. Looks like Casio didn’t provide that feature on my PX-S3000, which is a shame. Does the newer PX-Sxxxx line provide control of the 2nd layer with an expression pedal? Brad Saucier
You should ask the question about your PX-S3000 first, because it is possible on that model. 🙂 Open the function menu, go to "pedal/wheel", then go to "exp/asgn pedal". You'll find on/off switches here which will enable or disable the pedal for each part, upper 1, upper 2, and lower parts. For example, you can turn off the pedal for upper 1, leaving upper 2 on. Expression pedal can also be setup this way on the PX-S6000 and 7000.
Shocktech
Thanks for the feedback! Thought I had investigated that fully,…I guess not. I’ll check it out.
