Lopato Posted July 1, 2023 Posted July 1, 2023 I've done very little live performing on my privia and would like to know how to set up a bank of sounds for a gig in advance so I can switch from one patch to another quickly, wihtout having to scroll around. There must be a good way to do that, but I don't know how. Quote
Brad Saucier Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Registrations banks are for saving keyboard setups. Each registration can save tones, splits, layers, any many other settings for easy recall. Quote
Lopato Posted July 2, 2023 Author Posted July 2, 2023 I'm not sure if this addresses my issue (it may very well and I'm just not getting it yet:). The only thing I want to do at this point is have a setup where I can assign tone patches to different areas of a single bank or other storage location so that I can press one button to toggle through/choose from, say, 16 different tones on the fly in live performance. Splits, layers, etc. are irrelevant at the moment. Quote
Brad Saucier Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 Registrations can do that. They can save the smallest detail or a complex setup, your choice. If you simply want to save favorite tones, that is definitely possible with registrations. 96 registrations are available, 4 per bank, 24 banks. Quote
Dj_Akey Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 My question is on that point, how can i quick escape from any registration to e.g. Grand Piano only. (pxs3100). Brad, can you help? Quote

Brad, can you help? Store a registration as your favorite default setup. The keyboard does not have a tone or performance mode to escape from. Registrations are like screenshots of the current state of the keyboard. If you want to return to a simple default state, turn off split or layer and any other things you don't want like auto accomp, then store the registration. That registration can be used to restore a basic setup like grand piano. 1 Quote
