fdavenport Posted July 13, 2023 Share Posted July 13, 2023 Hello, I have a Casio CT-655 and I bought a MIDI to USB cable to use it with Ableton, but it's not being detected. Brad Saucier Posted July 13, 2023 Share Posted July 13, 2023 The keyboard does not have an internal USB port, therefore no drivers exist for the keyboard. Your MIDI to USB adapter is the device which may need a driver. You'll need to consult the manufacturer of the cable for software requirements to find out. Is it class compliant? If so, it is plug and play, no need to install a driver yourself. What is the brand of the cable? Did you properly connect MIDI IN to OUT? and OUT to IN?
