Pit
Dear experts, on my brandnew Casio PX-3100 i can produce one failure: Combining at the pads no. 4 "SuperSaw" together with Rhythm Pops JazzFunk (4) the tone suddenly dissappears. The drums are working fine only the Pad is stolen. With other sounds like e-piano (the wonderful Clavi 3) this failure can be reproduced. ! If a song was recorded you can start the song from the recorder with sounds (!!) & drums. Connection of Keyboard is disruppted in that case. Sometimes it works only a few bars, sometimes the stop comes after bright 60 bars. There is no defined behaviour to this phanomen. Failure can not produced with headphones pluged in. Reset with Factory Reset helps until the next rupture. I have got version 0104 inside. How to fix this on this incredible piano? I think this sound combination isn't fancy. Sure i made a factory reset. No midi had been recorded. Please help!! Thank you so much! Peter Edited November 11, 2023 by Pit
Brad Saucier
Your post is not clear. What are the specific conditions in which this occurs? Are you saying this only happens when recording a song with the MIDI recorder?
Pit
When using the drums together with any sounds the 3100 stops after a while. I am not playing very fast or a huge of notes. This failure occurs with every tone-section, without the Piano-Voices. If midi recording was made, the broken song can be played (oho the tone-priduction is working), but there is no connection to the keys. The 3100 leaves unplayable until i make a resett via the System-menue. Thanks a lot! Peter
Brad Saucier
Please write a detailed list of steps needed to recreate this condition. Number the steps. Start with the example below. It should be written like a user manual. 1. Press the power button to turn on the keyboard. 2. what is the next button press? and what does the display read? 3. and the next? Brad Saucier
I haven't forgotten this. Are you using sustain pedal? Is accompaniment turned on with a chord playing in the left hand? Or is it just the drum pattern without accompaniment?
