I feel like I’ve done everything right according to the manual.

I exported my Midi file (.mid) via Cubase 9, Windows 10

tried both format 1 and 0

i get the three light Casio error when I add the file to the music library folder and then hit the function, high e key which is the toggle between USB and MIDI. This three light indicator means the file is not readable.
what I want to do is hear the Casio tones as triggered by the MIDI data I programmed.
I don’t care how I do it. I do not see Casio as a MIDI output option. I do see Casio as a Midi input option in Cubase.

thoughts?

thanks!

The file size may be too big for keyboard memory.  If you rather play the file using the DAW, you should be able to find MIDI device preferences for IN and OUT (Casio USB MIDI) somewhere in there, as long as the piano is in MIDI mode, not USB mode.
