Aaron C
I purchased a CTK-601 secondhand earlier today and I'm running into an interesting issue with its built in Casio Cord mode. For anyone who doesn't know, Casio Cord mode is meant to play the corresponding cord for any note or set of notes you play in the left-most 11 notes. However, regardless of the tone I set the keyboard to, it only plays an electric organ sound in cord mode. It doesn't matter if I set the tone in normal mode then switch to cord mode. I don't have split mode on either. I've tried resetting the keyboard's memory but haven't found a solution. Anyone else run into this? Brad Saucier
That's something I call the accompaniment standby tone. With accompaniment chord mode turned on, but a rhythm is not playing yet, the standby tone confirms chord mode is tuned on. If the tone wasn't there, silence may be mistaken for a fault. Unfortunately the tone can't be changed to a different type.
