4tune8
Does Casio CDP 360 have similar or same tones and styles as CTX 5000? I own. CTX 5000 and was considering buying the CDP s360 digital piano, but may go for another model if such is the case with overlap of tone and rhythm bank
Brad Saucier
Yes they do share most tones and rhythms. The main difference is the addition of the 88 key hammer action. Are you looking for new sounds mostly? or rhythms?
4tune8
Brad, thanks for your reply. I was hoping that I could get some variety on both counts when I purchase my new 88 key board, I guess. I held back from buying CTS500 for the same reason when I was considering a second 61 key keyboard. I guess, I may still purchase the CDP s360, because atleast it’s a different playing experience with the hammer action keybed. I sold off my Yamaha P515, because despite a lovely sound, the key action was very stiff on that one and I just didn’t enjoy the paying experience because of the hard key action
