AP-470 blinks once but does not turn on

Hello, everyone. I've owned the AP-470 for around 4 years and have been playing it weekly ever since. Today, after one week of no use, I tried turning it on and it only blinks once and shuts down immediately. No sound, no noise, nothing: just one red blink. I tried changing the power outlet it's connected to, but it didn't make any difference. 

 

Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?

I would start with testing the power supply.  You'll see a voltage listed on it and that should be the normal output for it.

That makes sense, but only if something happened to the power supply after my last session (last week). Absolutely nothing different happened: it's been sitting in the same room, with the same power supply and connected to the same power outlet for 4 years now. I'll try to find an alternative power supply and give it a test.
