Concert Strings bank 1-5 - Inverted keyboard

Hello one and all,

First-time poster,  just picked up a PX-5S.

I did several searches before starting this topic, no luck.

Stage Setting 1-5 is in a curious state. The keyboard is inverted on this setting, as in, the low notes played on the keyboard sound from the right speaker, the high notes sound in the left speaker. 

All other settings I've explored (so far) trigger as one would expect: low end left speaker, high end right speaker. I've looked in many areas of the menus, but no solution. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

1.  You could reload the original 

2. Edit, Tone Edit, Pitch. You’ll find that each of the layers have key tracking set to -100 instead of 100. 
3.  Leave it. Walk to the back side of the keyboard and play normally. Very fun party trick.

Wait, do you mean the notes are inverted on the keys?  Or just the pan position of the layers are flip flopped left and right?

Oh I mis-read the question. It’s pan position? That is by design. 
 

In an orchestra, the bass section in on the right side.

If you wanted to change it - 
EDIT / Tone / AMP - pan position.

 

You'd have to adjust that for each layer.

Ah, thanks Mike. I obviously haven't studied symphony orchestration. Just a bit odd to get accustomed to playing left hand getting right pan sound.

I may try adjusting the AMP pan position just for experimentation; I also appreciate the education.

And, yes, you're right: fun party trick.
