David Loving
I am considering buying a PX-150 to gig with. How does the board sound with sound sent to a PA through the headphone jack?
aymeric106
Is there a reason not to use the line out ? EDIT: Sorry, i thought it was PX-350 Aymeric
David Loving
The manual shows using pin jacks to connect from the stereo headphone jack to an amp or a mixer. It's possible to get a TRS to two TS lines (red/blue meaning I guess Rt and Lft). Does this rigging work OK and how does it sound? I'm trying to decide between a Yamaha P105, that has proper out jacks, and a PX-150, that has only headphone jacks. I need a piano with decent Rhodes and Wurli, without all the auto-stuff the PX-350 has. I already have a PX-330 and the extra stuff can get in the way for my purposes. I'm not crazy about having to have special cables for connecting to a PA, but I like the 330 and want to give the PX150 a chance. Thanks in advance
Mike Martin
Sounds and works great this way David. We demoed it this way at Summer NAMM.
