From what I have read, some keyboards do not shut off the onboard speakers when the unit is connected to external speakers. If that is the case with your unit, you can use a 1/4" adapter in either of the PHONE jacks on the rear of the unit. See pg E-6. Hope this helps. The manual also points out that the 350 automatically optimizes the sound for internal speakers when headphones are not connected and this affects the line out jacks.
