What does this mean?

Recommended Posts

On page E-37 of the XW-P1 manual (same page in the XW-G1 manual, although it is formatted differently) under "Chorus and DSP Use Restrictions" it says that Chorus or DSP are only active when "A tone other than the Song Sequencer is selected by Zone Part 1..."  What does this mean? How can the Song Sequencer be a tone? Does it mean, as I initially assumed, that if the sequencer is playing Zone 1 (and Zone 1 is NOT set to a solo synthesizer because then you'd get the solo synth DSP effects) that you can't have a DSP or chorus effect?

AlenK,
I'll have to download the manual to see if I can translate better.

It is possible to have a regular tone (Not a Solo or Hex) utilize DSP.   If DSP is in use, the chorus is unavailable.  So there is only ONE insert effect available and basically it can only be used by the tone on Zone 1 regardless of what type of tone it is.
