Patrick Arend
Hi forum, I have had my xw-p1 for about three and a half months. That's usually about the time rubs and paint wear start to show. On my motif 6 it was the end caps, the silver paint started coming off on the corners, with my vs2400 it was the transport buttons, but amazingly my xw-p1 shows absolutely no signs of wear, or rubs or paint coming off. Im guessing maybe casio used really good orange, black, and white paint. and maybe instead of spraying silver paint on the casing ,they may have made the casing molded silver plastic. Whatever the case, im impressed.

Patrick Arend
Hi David, sorry to see that paint rub on your xw, After every time I get done playing, I clean my xw, with a soft micro fiber cloth, and a water solution with just a little windex in it. Acid in the human finger's can wreck havoc on paint used in synth's. So far, the paint on my xw is holding up, but I suppose at some point paint rub's will start to show.
Null
I want to know why David's P1 is all scratched up around K1? It looks like he cleans his board with steel wool :D

XW-Addict
Funny that this topic is mentioned the only thing I've seen on my G1 was as bit of dust in between the keys.
