amaverick
I currently own a XW-P1 with several hex layers I have created. I would eventually like to buy a Px-5s. Will I have to recreate all my XW hex layer patches or can the Px-5s play them? I guess they both share the same general midi tones. I'm aware the two keyboards save the files with different file type names. If the PX can't play them, maybe it can be done through software in some form? Display Name
Completely different sound engine, but the GM tones are generally the same. So you can't load or convert XW tones in the 5S, but recreating them should not be too hard.
XW-Addict
So this also means I can't load P1 hex-layers onto the G1
amaverick
Whew I was afraid of that. Some of my hex layers took from 30 minutes to a couple of hours to get the way I like. But if I ever buy a 5S ,I'm sure I will enjoy creating sounds on it just as well. Thanks for the quick answer Scott!
