Patrick Arend
I have been messing around with the XW-P1 arpeggios. I have been playing them along with track's I recorded from XW-P1. In my opinion these preset arpeggio's are some of the best I have ever played, very musical, rhythmic, and playable.
Display Name
Agreed. I love experimenting with different chord voicing, especially with fast-attack string sounds. The PX-5S has many (all?) of the same arpeggios.. the really cool thing is you can use 4 different arps at the same time.. and they all sync up!!! Oh say what four different arpeggio's that is interesting to know does that mean each stage if that similar to what zone's are in XW can do their own arpeggio's
Brad Saucier
Yes. A different arpeggio pattern can be assigned to each of the 4 zones of a stage setting. All 4 running at once and in sync as Scott mentioned. Also the arpeggiator can be set to trigger a phrase instead of an arpeggio pattern. Another cool PX5s arp trick is it has a control track that can be used to control filter or panning or anything else in an arpeggio pattern.
Estevez
Can arpeggio be used in step sequencer ? I was trying but I was only getting one single tone in the beginning of the sequence...
