Squeaky key

Shared this on the Fbook page already and thanks Scott for your reply. Posting here also for anyone who might have an idea of what's going on

Hello all !!! Strange problem that only started yesterday at my gig. This is G3 on my px5s. The note has a visible line appeared on the surface and if the key is played below the line an audible squeak can be heard. The noise doesn't occur when the key is pressed above the line .... Any ideas what's going on ??

Looks like you cracked a key. May be only a hairline crack but having worked on this type of keybed, there is not much room for the key action parts-any misalignment or small flex caused by a cracked key could cause internal parts to hit. And this is one part of the key that could crack but these are pretty tough to break. Looks like a defect. Just my best guess.
