Rexindigo
Hi, just bought a PX350 and i like it very much, now i was wondering if it is possible to make your own accompaniments. It is possible to customize the factory rhythms but only by dropping instruments and changing the volumen and chorus etc.But i would rather like to change the note material for example the bass line ... is that possible?thank you in advance for any suggestionsGreetings Rexindigo
Brad Saucier
Casio is very careful at wording these things. The PX-350 has a "rhythm editor". Boards like the WK-7600 have a "pattern sequencer". The pattern sequencer is the one that can make totally custom rhythms. The rhythm editor is limited to the things you pointed out. You can replace the bass line in a rhythm to a bass line out of another rhythm but as far as making your own bass line on the 350 itself, it's not possible. But there's a long winded work around for creating your own rhythms. If you're up to the challenge I would give it a go. This thread by Jokeyman details it. http://www.casiomusicforums.com/index.php?/topic/5146-adding-rhythm-files-to-px-350/

Jokeyman123
Thanks BradMZ for pointing to my post. Now onto my next brainbuster-still haven't cracked the code for editing DSP or other settings on the PX-350, but still trying! And Casio tech didn't give me much hope for a PX-350 editor like the PX-5s or XW-P1, but would be real nice if they did.
