  1. Today
  2. Yeah that's the thing. I hit Transfer and the screen just refreshes. Nothing, no choices. I got it to work one more time after disconnecting everything and restarting the phone and the keyboard, then it was back to the same behavior On my GalaxyS22, when it did work, the file manager showed the keyboard and what seemed to be a directory under it. Does it matter what level I save the lyric to? Do I need to spend $13 on a cable rather than $6?
  3. Yesterday
  4. Yes. If you're already familiar with assigning knobs to various functions, it is in the list of target parameters called "audio volume". It was added with firmware update 1.10, so if do not see audio volume, check your firmware version in system settings.
  5. Can that volume of the recorded files be assigned to one of the sliders within a stage setting or otherwise? Thanks!
  6. What exactly are you seeing after pressing transfer? If your phone/tablet has a file manager app installed such as "Files by Google" or other file manager apps, the phone/tablet should automatically open the file manager app. In the file manager, you should find a menu to select CT-S1000V as the save destination. This should be the case each time you transfer, not only the first time.
  7. Last week
  8. Note that I un-installed the lyric app and reinstalled, and It worked....once only. As soon as I tried to send another (long or short) lyric, I no longer got the prompt to select.a destination for the file.
  9. I think I missed selecting the keyboard as the save destination on my first attempt, and I cannot get the app to prompt me for the choice again. I can DELETE with no problem (tested by deleting HAPPY CHRISTMAS) but transfer is failing. Any idea how to reset? This is Android btw
  10. Would be interesting to have some filters like LPF for system effect or a saturation / grainy ring modulator.
  11. @Silvano Silva, Yes, this program allows you to substitute specific drum notes for a drum sound in another kit, by using a feature in the CT-X keyboards. I am pretty sure this feature is exclusive to CT-X keyboards, so it will not work on your MZ-X (although on MZ-X, you can create "User" drum kits which include whatever sounds you want, isn't that correct?). But as you say, you can for example assign a note in Standard Kit 1 to play another drum sound from Dance Set 1, and that allows you to create and play improved rhythms on CT-X. It's actually kind of nice that this is a feature of the Rhythm file, because then there is no need to create a special User drum tone file to go with it. Please note my earlier posts about support for non-CTX keyboards. The program only has built-in Tone and Drum lists for the CT-X models, so AC7 files from an MZ-X keyboard may contain quite a few "unknown" MZ-X Tone names, or some may be labeled slightly differently, and of course the Drum kits are somewhat different, too. But if someone wants to create an alternate Patch file for MZ-X, then the program will support it.
  12. The AP-710 has the Berlin Grand (Bechstein) as well as the Vienna Grand (Bösendorfer), neither of these are in the AP-650. The Hamburg is dramatically improved over the AP-650. The speaker system on the AP-710 is also improved over the AP-650.
  13. There have been some Casios with demo tunes from famous artists, including Rick Astley, Paula Abdul, Wham! and possibly Michael Jackson. But I don't recall any having Take A Chance On Me, or any ABBA song. Can you give us a more detailed description of the keyboard that you can remember? Colour? Tiny, Mini or full sized keys? Any other unique feature i.e. drum pads, accompaniment section, what did the display look like etc.? I found a play list on YouTube showing many of the demos available on Casio models. Do any of the models look like the one you remember?
  14. Congratulations, I installed the program here and from what I saw it is working well. I have a CT-X3000 and an MZ-X 500 and will soon be testing your program. What I'm unsure about is changing a drum note for a note from another kit. I haven't tested it yet, but is it possible to use a sound from, for example, STANDART 1 and another drum sound from the DANCE SET1 Rhythm Kit on the same channel? If possible, it will be very good at creating more improved rhythms. Sorry my English.
  15. Hi Brad thanks for you reply. No, I didn't, as inserting the SD HC card, in card mode, the FORMAT error message pops up. So did not go forward I ll try it Tuesday once I ll go home, and will reply to you if problem resolved. Thanks Sandor
  16. Thanks for coming aboard dgy, this is an impressive work, and looks fairly unique in terms of content. After spending a couple of hours looking through your (very interesting) database I have to reach the same conclusion. Amanda, are you sure this was a Casio? I also looked over many of the Yamahas, and these seemed to have fuller collections of pop or more modern songs, less focus on the public domain arrangements. and many of the PSR's also have colored buttons you are describing. I did not spend too much time on the Yamahas, but the odds of finding an Abba song there I am thinking, might be better.
  17. Hi Sandor. Welcome to the forums. Have you tried formatting the card using the keyboard instead of a computer? 1. Press the CARD button 2. Hold down FUNCTION and press MENU 3. Confirm "CardFormat" is selected on the display and press ENTER 4. Select the number of audio files you want to reserve space for on the SD card. Max limit is 20 files for 4GB to 32GB cards. Use the dial or + - buttons. 5. Press YES to start formatting
  18. Hello. I have an AP650 piano. Overall, I am very pleased with it, but I wonder what the difference is between the AP 650 and the AP 710. I mean the sound of the 710 Bechstein pianos. Has anyone played both? Is it worth investing in 710? Is the sound of the grand piano virtually identical to the 650? Regards, Mark.
  19. Hello Dear Community my son is a new WK 7600 owner. Great instrument for creativity. However, one of the main function (for what we have chosen this model) is not working for us: audio recording into an SD card. Not able to read any SD HC card. I have red some comments in this topic (I don t know if in this forum or not) highlighting the right SD card format / model to be used. I have purchased and tried several models, finally a brand new SanDisk Ultra 32 GB MS DOS FAT extension - but the error message is the same: "ERROR FORMAT PRESS EXIT" Is there anyone who could solve this problem, please? Can you indicate an exact SD Card model that surely works and still is on the market so I can buy that one? Should we format the card before use (I did anyway however some 3 MB system file always remains on the card) if yes, how exactly (under MAC). thanks a lot have a nice day Sandor
  20. Даю ссылки на архивы, где много чего ЕСТЬ. Но искать самому времени нет пока. 21. I don't think the model in question is a Casio. I would search other brands that usually had demo songs.
  22. Hey, greetings from the editor of DemoDB 😄 I'm pretty sure that so far in our demo songs collection of CASIO keyboards, there's no ABBA's Take a Chance on Me. As far as I know, CASIO almost didn't use any of ABBA's songs in their demos. "Blue and green buttons" seem to point at a CASIO keyboard made during the 90s-00s, and there is a song that is similar to Take a Chance on Me at the very first, "Wake me up before you go go" by Wham! at https://demodb.org/casio/sa/sa-20 . According to @amandavr 's memory, SA-20 might be the model, you can find blue and green buttons on the keyboard, and the demo button is in yellow.
  23. I've been scouring through this list-not complete and some of it is in Chinese (surprise!) but I have found huge songlists for quite a few Casios here in English. https://demodb.org/casio I'm suspecting an MT or CT-many of those have blue, green and/or yellow buttons-or possibly one of the lighted key series-the LK's. Many of those start their demo list with pop songs, almost always public domain though for every one I've found so far. Most CTK's/WK's did not have blue/green buttons. Had no luck so far.
  24. Hi everyone, I owned a Casio (I think) keyboard in the early 00s. I remember the blue and green buttons similar to many Casios. I also remember a yellow demo song button that played Take a Chance on Me by Abba. I still remember every single sound of this pianos version and would do anything to hear it again. Is there by any chance anyone else who remembers this and can give me the model number?
  25. Thanks, yes I know the book, but it doesn't really address this problem. (Btw. the CZ101 can be played in 8 voices in single line mode without any problems, I had one for years.) Hm, I tend to think that most of the CZ1s may have been delivered with a faulty firmware that prevents the output of more than 8 notes via the internal keyboard (and via MIDI the keyboard of my CZ only outputs a maximum of 8 notes). Perhaps the firmware was corrected later, which would explain why some users report 16-note voicing. And all advertisements, manuals and test reports mention 16 voices. Is anyone's CZ1 (or 3000/5000 etc, that would be interesting too) able to play more than 8 voices on its own keyboard when only one line is used? I'm just curious now 🙂 I'm interested to know where this discrepancy between the specifications and reality comes from.
  26. Hi everyone!! I have tried searching and checked the manual, and have found nothing so figured I would have to ask. I have a second hand CA-110, it has a weird glitch where the middle C sharp sounds out both the C# and the D at the same time? The D doesn't do this, only the C sharp and it does this across all sounds. I have tried the keyboard with new batteries, and with a wall adapter. I cleaned the keyboard thoroughly when I first got it last year, and since then i wipe it down with a microfibre cloth whenever I'm cleaning the collection. I keep all my keyboards in a spare room, and the power outlets which are not in use get switched off at the wall so there shouldn't be any interference happening from other devices. I found a reddit thread with someone having the same issue with a Yamaha keyboard due to water damage, and seeing as this one is second hand there's a chance the previous owner might have done something and not told me about it, but there are no other signs of damage that I found. Does anyone know what I should try next to fix it? thanks
