Crazy For You
By jaspeter
Some notes to go along with the upload:
1. Intro percussion hits on Bb- and A-
2. Start the arpeggiator in the top octave: F#6, B6, and E7. Pedal down locks the arpeggiator so you can turn it off during the chorus.
3. "Wavy" bass 2-note synth is G2/B2 and A2C#3.
4. Chorus synth is around C4.

TomRush1.0
Hello friends!
This is my first attempt to program the Oberhein OBX timbre used in the introduction of Rush's Tom Sawyer music to the PX5S.
At the beginning of the keyboard, from C1 to E2 there is the famous timbre, then we have the synth used on the solo, with portamento and envelope and at the end a third synth used as base in some moments.
In Knob 4 there is the "Hold" option to hold the last note of the solo before the guitar solo
The pedal is only enabled for the third synth, so you can keep the base with the pedal while soloing with the second synth.
Soon I'll post a version 1.2
Hope you like it!
Peace love and Rock´n´roll
Paz amor e Rock´n´roll

You can control the filter cutoff for the synth brass sound at the bottom as needed throughout.
The top part is for the melody in the middle and riffs throughout.

Frankenstein
By WMDkeys
I did this a while ago while for the Edgar Winter classic after reading an article in Keyboard Magazine called "The Art of Synth Soloing: Edgar Winter's Frankenstein Revisted.
The bottom part of the stage setting is for the middle solo which has a trill effect built in.
The second sound is what I used for the melody lead. I was never really that satisfied with it.
On D6 is the dramatic synth sound after the solo. I use S1 to emulate the ping pong effect leading to the drums coming back in. I am by no means an advance programmer and would love if the more experienced members could improve on this stage setting if possible.

Toto Recall (Africa Stage Setting)
By craZivn
This is a simplified stage setting for "Africa" by Toto. There are three segments: The main synth-horn bit (A1-A4), the wood-block sounds (A0-F#1) and the solo sound (B4-C8). My bandmates insisted on doing a simpled-down version of the song so I didn't go to the trouble of programming other sounds like the flute.
Here's a quick demo of the sounds:

BABA O'RILEY
By Mauriterapi
Stage Setting and Phrases for Baba O'riley by The Who. To work properly, you will need to download the phrase files and place them on your PX-5S in the phrase library. The BABARP1 consists of the continuous arpeggio with the notes C, F and octave C, allocated in zone 1. The BABAARP2 consists of 2 bars of a half step ornament, allocated in zone 4. And the BABAARP3 consists of a hole step ornament, allocated in zone 3.
The stage setting BABAORIL has 4 zones. Zone 1: GrPnoConcert, with Sustain Pedal; Zone 2, 3, 4: Pulse Lead 1, without Sustain Pedal. I made some modifications of EQ and FX individually in the stage setting itself. I hope to help the forum friends as others have already helped me with great contributions.

Oye Como Va
By jaspeter
This zip file contains the Stage Setting and the Percussion file needed to reproduce the sound in the included sample MP3. Don't forget to update the phrase location in the stage setting with whatever phrase slot you end up using for the percussion loop.
Sliders 1 and 2 control the two organ layers. Pedal 1 switches between fast and slow rotary, which also switches between the C1 and C3 chorus settings. Pedal 2 toggles the percussion off and on.
I heard this song on a long road trip recently and I couldn't help but think about how to replicate it on the PX-5S. For hours, I tried many different settings and tried to "brew" my own effects, but I found that layering the stock Distortion Organ patch with an octave higher worked surprisingly well! Unfortunately, we don't have a lead guitar player in the band, so I probably won't actually use this, but I enjoyed the challenge.

Feels like the first time
By Knuckles
This is my stage setting for Feels like the First Time by Foreigner.
It has an organ sound in the lower part of the keyboard and the arpeggiated sequence from D6 upwards. All you need to do for that sequence is press D6. You won't need the other notes unless your band transposes it. The arpeggio consists of 6 notes, each of which make up one beat. It is set to the correct time for the track, but if your band deviates slightly from that tempo just press the note again on one of the beats. I tend to press it at the start of every bar regardless just to keep it nicely synced. If you tend to play it at an entirely different speed, then use the TEMPO button in conjustion with - & + buttons beside it to select another speed.
I have not included a synth lead as I usually play that on another keyboard. You can choose your favourite one and add it in, or if you get stuck let me know and I might be able to help.
I hope you like it. 🙂
Here is a demo of the arpeggiated sound:

I just died in your arms
By Knuckles
Hello. I have just made this stage setting for Cutting Crew's song "I just died in your arms tonight".
I have arpeggiated the double notes so that they sound very even and mechanical, and there is also another arpeggiator which adds a bit more life to it, I think. I had a third one which was even better, but I decided to reluctantly delete it to give the melody more strength.
This is one of my first goes with the arpeggiator - or indeed any arpeggiator - and I am surprise how much fun it is to both program and play.
.The stage setting has a piccalo, synth, synth strings & a cello.
I hope you like it. 🙂

Locked out of Heaven
By Knuckles
Here is my stage setting for Locked out of Heaven. It features a buzzy synth sound on the lower notes and a cool sireny thing with lots of portamento for the strange slidy notes on the upper three octaves. You can either just hold down one of the notes to get the siren or play them one after the other in semitones. I hope you like it. ☺️

Bye Bye Love
By jimmyjames
Uses all four zones. Geographically, top zone is lead synth sound. Sustain pedal is controlling vibrato for this zone only. Use a slide to control portamento and another to control delay for this zone too as these vary during solo. Second zone is the pre-chorus synth sound. Third zone is the CP-30-like sound. Bottom is a few low notes of acoustic piano which you will here in the Cars recording under the "Bye Bye Love" lyrics.

Here how it sounds.
Enjoy.

Whip It (Devo)
By tan5taafl
Per Robert's FB request. I think three parts to this one? Again, long time since I used it. A (literal) handful of keys in the LH are programmed "whip" sounds, set on millisecond delays from each other to give it some oomph. I usually play four or five keys at a time. RH is main synth sound. RH higher octave or so is for the chorus. Good luck!

80sStageSettings
By Tom Georges
Ok - giving back (hopefully!) to this very helpful community!
These Stage Settings are ones I created for when I filled in for the regular keyboard guy in an 80s rock band. They are for the tunes:
RTDOUBLE - Foreigner's Double Vision
RTFORGET - Don't You Forget About Me
RTHUNGRY - Hungry Like the Wolf (not sure if the arpeggiator gets saved with Stage Settings - let me know)
RTJANE - Jefferson Starship's Jane
RTLIVINON - Bon Jovi's Livin' On a Prayer
RTLOCKED - Bruno Mars Locked Out Of Heaven (I know - not an 80s tune, but including it anyhow)
RTRULEWO - Everybody Wants To Rule The World
RTYELL - Billy Idol's Rebel Yell

Feels Like the First Time (Foreigner)
By tan5taafl
Posting for Tom Georges based on his FB request. I hope the Arp setting travels with the SS -- never tried that before and I'm not near my PX5S to test it out. I think there are two splits / three zones. Bottom end has the organ, middle has the arpeggio synth, top end has the solo synth. At least, that's how I remember it. Haven't played the song in a long time, going off memory. Best of luck with your gig!

Evanescence
By craZivn
A song-ready SS for "Bring Me To Life" by Evanescence.
A0 is the low bass rumble that you hear in the beginning of the song (hit it with your pinky while you're playing the piano part).
C8 is the resonant staccato white-noise that you hear after Verse 2 in the song.
B0 to E2 is the piano. F2 is the white noise for the intro. The rest of the keys are strings.
Use Pedal 1 to sustain the strings while you use your right hand to hit the white noise for the intro.
Pedal 2, all sliders and pitch/mod wheels are not used.
Here's a short video demonstration of the stage setting, complete with mistakes but you get the idea:
Enjoy!

Can't Fight This Feelin'
By dlm
This is the piano/keyboard sound(s) for REO Speedwagon's "Can't Fight This Feelin'".
Pedal 1 is set to SUSTAIN, while Pedal 2 turns the synth/bell zones off (Z 1 &4) for the verses. Zone 3 is an (optional) extra piano sound to beef up the Rock Piano sound in zone 2 if you care to enable it.
I will record a Soundcloud demo shortly.
(Original Key: A Major) Enjoy!
