I would try a reset in the keyboard settings. Initialize system, if you don't have any user data stored.
-
Have you checked accompaniment volume?
-
The Chordana app is intended for touch screen mobile devices, mainly Android and Apple tablets and phones. As T said, your Casio is plug and play on most modern computers and mobile devices. Windows XP should have installed the keyboard as a MIDI device when first connected. Which software are you running with your Korg that isn't working with your Casio?
-
It is plug and play. Simply connect the keyboard by a standard USB printer cable, then open any MIDI enabled software you want to use.
-
Is the folder named "MUSICDAT"? Did you press menu>media>load>rhythm? AC7 is a rhythm file. ZLT files are hex layer tones.
-
Did you unzip the files? They must be unzipped first.
-
Which files did you download?
-
Are you trying to change the tones used by a rhythm, or trying to change the placeholder tones that are heard whenever accompaniment is turned on but a rhythm is not playing?
-
You mentioned 16 tracks, are you recording with the MIDI recorder or are you editing a rhythm to create a user rhythm? or are just trying to change tones using the mixer without editing or recording?
-
Open the MIDI recorder, press record, press "new data", press "system track no name" and change it to a solo track. You have 16 solo tracks, each for a different tone.
-
B is for MIDI IN or MIDI recorder system track. The user manual has a sound source MIDI part channel diagram near the back.
-
That particular system setting will always reset when the power is turned off. Instead, you'll need to adjust MIDI control at the zone level in a stage setting. Press edit>stage setting>zone edit>midi edit>generator out>turn this off. Repeat for any other zones you want to turn off locally. Save this as your "local off" stage setting. I would name it for that so it's easy to remember what it is for.

Small SP7 file cant opening in my laptop
Brad Saucier replied to SANTANU ROY's topic in Share Your Casio Music Here!
SP7 files are only compatible with the CDP-230R. You'll want to save the song as SMF instead. -
The files are not compatible and can't be converted.

@Daniel Weltlinger Welcome to the forums! -
Your computer is introducing latency. This is caused usually by the audio driver your software is using. Be sure to change the driver FL studio is using to an ASIO driver.

USB Midi driver for Windows 10
Brad Saucier replied to jirka's topic in General CTK / WK / LK Discussion
Okay, update to my previous post. Expanding on the fact that Casio USB is for MIDI only, not audio. I checked Audacity again since I recall some limited MIDI support was added a few years ago. Audacity MIDI support is limited to playing a MIDI file and very basic editing. This is why you can't select your Casio as an input device. Audacity won't record MIDI. Your Casio can be used as a MIDI sound source with Audacity if you open preferences and select the MIDI tab, and select CASIO USB MIDI as the device. Now for DarkWave. That software has an interesting workflow. It supports MIDI input and output. In order to do that, you first have to create a MIDI input in the studio tab by right clicking and selecting native>es MIDI input. You may have click the drop down arrow and select show custom GUI. You'll see 2 drop down boxes. The top box is where you select Casio USB MIDI as input. That's as far I can go with directions, but it shows it does work. -
@Gr3yWolf How is you internet connection? Is it slow? Your post duplicated itself 3 times. I hid the other 2 to keep things tidy.

See page EN-57 of the owners manual for details. Accompaniment volume is in the function menu under accompaniment.

Question about simulating live recordings
Brad Saucier replied to McMick's topic in General Casio Discussion
A mic in the middle of a real piano will pick up more reflections of sound from things not near the mic and less reflections for things closer. This would require an early reflection style effect that can be applied to some notes more than others. There's more to it than just grading the volume level of the keys, which can be done using amp key follow in a hex layer tone. Casio used somewhere around 24 microphones on the piano sampled, so pretty much every note is close mic sound. Perhaps there's a way to blend together a couple of zones and hex layers, one with more early reflection DSP than the others, as well as some volume grading. Don't forget EQ tweaks as well.- 1 reply

USB Midi driver for Windows 10
Brad Saucier replied to jirka's topic in General CTK / WK / LK Discussion
@Ang Your Casio USB connection is for MIDI only, not audio. Audacity does not support MIDI. It is strictly an audio editor. I'm not familiar with Darkwave, but a quick look online seems to indicate it does support MIDI. I'll download that software later and check it out. -
Does it sound like a key is triggering at full velocity? It may be some dirt under that particular key in the sensor system. You could try blowing some air between the keys. That's always a good first step since it's so simple to do.

Select the rhythm, hold down the record/stop button until "rhy name" appears, cursor left until "rhy clr" appears, press enter.
