  1. Agreed, the Casio has some great sounds and tonnes of features (maybe too many!) but the manual and UI isn't always the greatest. Still, overall a great product for the price.
  2. I think you can upload it to YouTube and post a link to it here? Is it out of warranty where you are? I can't remember what the default warranty is, probably a year but some countries might have more.
  3. Yes, I think you've got it right! It can also be powered by the USB port (the one for flash drives) on the Casio so you can manage without a separate power supply (or at least that was my experience).
  4. Yamaha UD-BT01 could be an option although probably not cheaper than the option you're suggesting. Less cables though! πŸ˜€
  5. Realistically it's unlikely you'll get anything at this point.
  6. Take it back to the retailer you bought it from under warranty.
  7. I suspect you both know the answer to that, and it ends in a "10" (or even 11!). We all have to move on guys...
  8. This Japanese guy has a pretty cool series of videos showing off the vocal synth possibilities. Here’s the first: https://youtu.be/w-aEVYa4Xo4
  9. Transferring the words over is not time sensitive so it shouldn't matter. Perhaps there is a technical reason though. Anyway, good job Casio! I think this keyboard will be a YouTube hit! We'll be seeing lots of interesting recreations of old songs with this vocal feature, I bet πŸ™‚
  10. I like the sound of this. But having to connect the app to the keyboard via USB? That seems like a real missed opportunity given the Bluetooth already available.
  11. You can coax some pretty good synth sounds out of this thing (CT-X3000) with a bit of patience and experimentation! I've created a number of tones which I'll get round to sharing at some point.
  12. I don't believe it can be done I'm afraid, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
  13. Interesting suggestion but I'd imagine the only person who would use 1000 registration slots would be you!πŸ˜€
