Casio MT-40 Drums
Here' a user wave tone (MT_40_SE.ZWT), a performance file (MT_40_PE.ZPF), a sequencer file (MT_40_SE.ZSS) and an audio demo of it all (MT40 Samples Demo 1.wav) that I made from the samples described below:
Casio MT-40 Drum Samples & Demos - Classic Casio Discussion - Casio Music Forums
you can play the drums using these keys on the keyboard:
C2 = kick
Eb2 = clave
E2 = snare
F#2 = closed hihat
Bb2= open hihat
or you can start the step sequencer with the sequence already made.
To link the tone and the sequence in the performance, I use the following memory slots:
Performance U:8-0
Tone U:208
Sequence U:5-5

NeverEndingStory
Here is an attempt to create the beginning of a performance file for Giorgio Moroder's “The Never Ending Story” sung by Limahl -
for the XW-G1.
NEVEREND.ZPF - performance file
NEVEREND.ZSS- sequencer file (in slot U:4-7)
NEVEREND.ZPH - phrase file (to be used on control track 14 in the sequence) (in slot U:3-7)
NEVEREN2.ZPH - phrase file with piano/melody (to be triggered by a push on the Phrase Seq Play/Stop button) (in slot U:3-8)
NeverEnding.wav - a sound example. You may download this file first to hear the performance in action.
(You may have to edit the performance file and possibly also the sequencer file in order for the to link to the respective files correctly).
Cheers,

Billie Jean by Michael Jackson V05
Hello
I see there are a lot of song-ready stage settings for the PX-5S, but not so for the XW-G1 😮
So, here's my take at making a song-ready performance/step sequence for the XW-G1 to make up for that imbalance.
This my first attempt at doing so, and what you have here is perhaps a bit preliminary in the sense that it isn't complete.
However, this is just the first "draft". If you like it, please tell me - and I might improve it at some point
I have included 3 files in this upload:
BILLIEJE.ZPF - Performance File BILLIEJ5.ZSS - Step Sequencer File
and
Billie Jean by Michael Jackson for Casio XW-G1.WAV - Sound Example
(in the perfomance, the step sequence is placed in U: 2-2)
(in the Sound Example I play the melody on my PX-5S)
Cheers!

soft strings My Strings
By Jay C in Strings, Brass and Orchestral
A modified version of the built-in tone BriteStrings, that is filtered and thus has a softer timbre to it.
The tone BRITESTR.ZTN was saved in slot 70 under the Strings/Brass tone-group.
The stage setting MY_STRIN.ZPF also includes a GrandPianoConcert Tone on Zone 2 (Zone 1 is disabled) to play along with the strings in the phrase STRINGSC.ZPH that I have uploaded here.

Playfull V01
By Jay C in Synths, Pads, Arpeggios and more
Here's a Hexlayer Tone called "SomethingNew" I did some time ago. It has a brassy (synth) kind of sound to it.
Also, when you release the keys the sound is programmed to sort of talk back at ya
If you use the stagesetting PLAYFULL.ZPF (instead) and you hard-press the keys in the lower keyboard range you'll hear an arpeggio.
I included a sound demo (of the stagesetting) as well.
Have fun with it.

Analog
By Jay C in Synths, Pads, Arpeggios and more
Hi
Mike Martin did a live seminar on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fby6I6lHfYM&feature=youtu.be
On "PX-5S Programming: Analog Style Explorations". The resulting sound was incredible, and I've been looking for it as a download on this forum. It seems it is nowhere here
So I meticulously tried to mimic the settings that Mike made to the sound in the Hex Layer Engine on his PX-5S until the point (at 49:32) in the above mentioned video where he saves it to memory.
I would like to emphasize that this file is only an imitation - not the original.
About the sound:
You can manipulate the LFO using the modulation wheel.
I have named the it "Analog" (as in the video).
Finally, I uploaded a short audio demo of the sound.

Casio CT-370 Drums
Hey
For fun I sampled some drum sound from my CT-370 to my XW-G1, and made a sequence aswell.
In this upload, I've included four files:
CT-370 Drums Sequence.wav - an audio file for demonstration purposes
CT-370__.ZPF - a performance file that links every thing together
CT-370__.ZSS - a step sequencer file
CT-370_D.ZWT - a user wave tone
Once loaded, the performance lets your play five sampled drum sounds from the keyboard:
C2 - Bass Drum 2
C# - Rim Shot
E2 - Snare Drum
F#2 - Closed Hihat 1
Bb2 - Open Hihat 1
You can use Knobs K1-K4 to adjust the internal equalizer too.
The step sequence has currently four different patterns that all make use of the sampled drum sounds. You can hear it in the wav file.
Notice: The performance file expects the user wave tone to be placed in slot 209 and the sequence to be placed in slot 3-7.
Enjoy!

That you can use for keyboard play or in the step sequencer.

CT-S1 SynBrs (Stage Setting for PX-5S)
By Jay C in PX-5S Other
As described in this comment:
Here is a stage setting for the PX-5S that will send one program change message to the CT-S1 - provided they connected via midi - for it to sound the 1st tone in the Synth category of its tone bank. That tone is called Synth-Brass, hence the name of the stage setting.
Moreover, you will have control over:
filter cut-off [Slider 1] filter resonance [Slider 2] attack time [Slider 3] chorus [Slider 4] delay [Slider 5] reverb [Slider 6]
of the CT-S1
and
use pitch bender use modulation wheel
all triggered by the PX-5S.
For the stage setting to send the program change message you may have to press [Bank] and the stage setting-number you saved it under.
For instance, if you saved it under Bank 0-0, you would press [Bank] and [0] [0].
By design, sound generation on the PX-5S is turned off in this stage setting. Likewise, the target (1 & 2) of Knobs 1-4 is not assigned.
Here is an example of the stage setting in use. All music is played on the PX-5S, even though it is the CT-S1 you hear. I used some of the sliders on the PX-5S to slightly alter the sound from the CT-S1:
