  1. As far as I know Go:Piano 88 was released prior to NAMM. ($399) FP-10 seems like the latest product (it was on NAMM). I know the type of keyboard they use (same as on DS). This looks like a good product. I like Roland's approach for BT interface. It is BT MIDI, it makes the whole difference. FP suppose to be $499. PX-S for some reason is missing BT MIDI. Instead, it includes BT Audio like it's an amplifier. "Perhaps one day I will understand Casio's unique sense of humor" PSR-E360 - did you see the maple edition. What is it - 50th (hopefully).
  2. “Aftertouch” because NAMM is over. I agree I did not pick a good name for the thread. What was new from Roland? Korg Kross 2 now comes in 6 different colors

  4. I do not understand all the admiration. We have already given to it all possible medals and rewards. I am sure that so far nobody has tried these new Privias. NAMM is a pretty closed event. I am waiting when it will appear in demo rooms so could try it myself. Did anybody see the manual for PX S1000, 3000. I could not find it on Casio's website. There аrе some features which are easy to make such as the noise of dumper or keys of the keyboard. On acoustic piano such "features" are least desirable. When somebody is trying to convince me that key noise in my headphone is a cool feature it does not impress me at all. SP34 seems to be a good idea. I do prefer this design over the old one. However seems like SP33 won't work with new PX-S. Do people have to buy new stands? It looks like there is no USB-Audio again. According to available information, the blue-tooth interface allows to feed-in audio to PX. Integration with iPad is limited to the level of USB-MIDI. New generation, it is !!! PX- S3000 is $200 cheaper than PX-360. Maybe I expect too much.
  5. I do not see anywhere keywords Air, Privia. There is no manual so far. Oh no found it is Privia and Air. It is nice, now you can hear a keyboard noise in your headphones as well

  8. Russian Disco sounds totally different.
  9. It is fun to watch it without sound
  10. Let know your opinion. I do not use SW solutions due to significant lag regardless of the software. Pianoteq is one of those I actually have. Remember that for VST you may need to buy a higher edition on DAW. Because not all basic versions of DAWs provide support for VST. The best results I get with SW sound banks when running them on iPad.
  11. Hammer action in most cases is very quiet I know that from my own experience(sometimes it is surprisingly quiet). Casio makes the most of noise when key returns to the starting position. Maybe it is Ok for studio/classroom but for home... I am not the person who recommends buying PX for home.
  12. I would try MZ 61 if it would have weighted keys (actually I am looking for 61 real piano keys keyboard) The only option still RD64 Talking about FA - it has 6 sound engines, humongous list of parameters, an extremely advanced sequencer editor, sampler built based on SP-404, 2000 sounds, axial download, 100% compatibility with Integra 7, great keyboard, etc. It is a piece of art (which I have traded in any way)
  13. This song has nothing to do with Russian disco
  14. I spent Sunday morning in the garage playing PX-360. Oh, the grand piano on it so good. ( never thought my garage has such good acoustics ) It is 3 years old instrument now. When I bought it Casio provided an extended 3-years warranty which I did not use at all (a little bit more about it later). Yes, Jokeyman123 this is y-m one of the performances from category FX-M slightly modified. ( I would call it a band instead of performance, but yamaha calls it performance) In some terms, 'm' is alike Ableton. You program scenes and then actually playing using them during recording.(It is not an arranger as well - there are no complete sets ( intro .. ending ) for common music forms ) When it plays the recorded piece back it actually switches the scenes and applies all recorded MIDI commands. At the same time, you can record everything in DAW as a straight midi for all participating tracks and then play them back the synth will play it exactly the same way. All this may sound obvious but in practice, it is not always the truth. vs Ableton, this DAW does not give you an option to perform during the recording of the sequence. (Ableton is different than most of the other linear sequencers. it records a sequence of the clips not just sequence of MIDI commands.) The piece published above was one of the previously played ideas. This weekend I was going through mini ideas saved but not realized to something more complete. There were two options to delete it or to finish it. I have videos showing the dynamics of controls on the synth ( not sure whether I want to spend time on making that video ) Going back to PX360 grand piano and 3 years warranty ... Everybody already tired of me saying the keys are noisy. However 3 years ago I went to GC to trade it (this particular instrument) in for Roland FA 8 (because of the noisy keys). I got half of a price I paid for the PX and invested it into a new instrument (brand new). I came back home - this was a shock to me when I heard SuperNatural piano. Maybe it is not so bad, but it is so much different I was not ready for it. I have rushed up to call GC. I have explained everything ;) and asked those guys to get my PX back. I returned FA back and got my PX for the price of a sales tax(they had to make it officially) This is not the end of the story but I have to stop. Now it's sitting in the garage and makes me happy when I get time to play on it Sunday morning
  15. Just curious(I do not have organ pedals), Is there an option to connect organ pedals to MZ?
  16. ABBA?!?!?!? " I've got a ticket to the moon ..."(I know it's not ABBA) Thanks for such incredible (unexpected) comments. The name of my vband is "B#"
  17. Another lesson from PianoMarvel with a little bit of arrangement. There are four parts - piano solo, piano chords, bass, and drums. 8 instruments - 3 for solo, 3 for piano (chords), 2 for bass and one for drums.
  18. PianoMarvel is good for home practice. There is no interactive corrections such as keep your head up or lower your shoulders ;)
  19. If you want, you can take a look at PianoMarvel.com. Obviously, you are above first two levels which are free. I hope they still have a trial period (it was 2 month before). If you will try it out, let know what you think.
  20. What is " it is the 2nd take on 6"? Where do you take lessons(live teacher or online tutorial)?
  21. I think the best answer you can get from the manufacturer. Ask the customer support about it.
