  5. File Name: Grand Movie File Submitter: Mike Martin File Submitted: 03 Oct 2014 File Category: Acoustic Pianos and Piano Layers This Stage Settting contains a new piano (ExpressiveGP) tone which is a variation on the Dolce Grand. It also has available stereo strings controlled by Slider 1 and an airy synth pad controlled by slider 2. As the name implies, I imagine Thomas Newman or another composer using this soft grand in a movie. Enjoy. Click here to download this file

This is a Piano based on the ConcertD but heavily modified in the EQ area. I also has a Hex layer of pads and strings etc that can be modified with the sliders. I use this sound in Worship a very ethereal sound can be achieved with a bright Concert sounding Piano. I have gone to alot of trouble to mix this righ AS IS even though you can easily use the sliders to radically change it. Please note Slider 5 is very important. It controls the Hex layer as a whole in the mix so setting to zero youll get just the piano sound, All the way up youll get a strong mix of both. Sliders 1,2,3,4,and six control the volume elements of the HexLayer. If you have the Hexlayer volume up yet play without the use of the sustain pedal and play a little bit staccato the piano will come through strongly and the hexplayer pads will drop right back to being almost unnoticeable.

10-pack of arpeggiated string Stage Settings. Experiment with different chord voicings; but most work best by simply holding a 3-4 note chord with the right hand, and a single bass note with the left. Run through various chord progressions and let Motion Strings do all the work. Audio demos will be added soon. Experiment and have fun!

MOVIE STRINGS First shot at some cinematic sounds. The goal is for some versatile strings for scoring. Velocity in the lower octaves will bring in a timpani for extra impact. This is a work in progress so don't just download and run! Play around with it and give me some feedback so I can make it better. A Stage Setting for Ozzy Osbourne's Mr. Crowley. This Stage Setting requires use of Pedal2. Pressing Pedal 2, turns ON the layer which has the pitch slide. Releasing Pedal 2, turns on the choral layer.
  12. I had a Yamaha P-140 that had a piano + strings patch that I grew accustomed to that I'm trying to recreate. The strings would gently fade in behind the piano, and if you were holding the sustain pedal (but released your fingers from the keys) the strings would gracefully fade out (quicker than than the decay of the piano). If you held the keys down with your fingers, the strings would continue to sustain for as long as you held the keys down (versus fading out like when using the sustain pedal). I've managed to figure out how to set the attack to fade in on my PX-5S, but I can't figure out how to set them to fade out when sustaining with a sustain pedal while remaining full volume for as long as keys are held down. Anybody have any ideas how to achieve it?
