geronimo
Hi All As mentioned before very much a novice at this, has anyone knowledge of the above "Synthesia" or similar, it allows you to donwload to you computer and watch the notes"falldown" for you to play....you just follow to coloured or indicated keys Apologies of this is not the right forum to ask
mike71
There is Chordana play for piano that has a similar functiond. I't designed to work on some Casio digital pianos, but the falling note functionality seems to work even on not supported ones like the px-5s. Ort there's the Linux fork that is a free version http://linthesia.sourceforge.net/ Tried it on a smartphone, but you definitively need a bigger screen to have them useful. In my personal opinon it's way better to learn to read music, and there are some applications that are like Synthesia but are using notes http://pianobooster.sourceforge.net/ It runs also on Windows and OSX.
geronimo
Hi Mike 71 I have searched your links, and I don't think my laptop is compatible. I think I will go back to basics, ie looking for a dummies guide to Playing the keyboard, if you have any suggestions please... Thanks
Brad Saucier
If you have a tablet or larger screen phone (Android or iOS), Casio's Chordana Play for Piano app works nicely. It allows you to use your own MIDI files. As Mike said, the MIDI player function appears to work on any Casio with USB MIDI. Here's the app description page... https://web.casio.com/app/en/piano/

FlashyEagle8
i've installed Sythesia for Android Tablet, i've imported some .mid files, and my screen was full of many colors (yellow, green, purpble, blue, pink), i'm guessing that it's full arrangement, like drums, guitar and ofc, (4to6 hands been used...) But is there any option to switch OFF some colors, so u can just Focus on a Single one, like Blue or Blue & Purple Only? I need help for this, coz intending to purchase Synthesia, but I dont want to pay if u cant switching OFF some "colors", i',d be a waste of Money for nothing ! THANKS !
