Jokeyman123
Considering adding the MZ-X to my Casio collection, but would like to hear some of the drum kits in this board. Can anyone here upload a few mp3 recordings of a few of the kits with some simple rhythms or direct me to a good Youtube or other demo? Primarily interested in the "standard" kits, not so much the dance, hip-hop etc. I own the PX560, I am thinking the MZ might be similar or identical re drum kits. The kits in the CTK/WK series are OK, but a little "flat" or compressed to my ears, the PX560 kits are better. From what I have heard online, many of the bread and butter sounds within the MZ-X seem like the same samples as the PX560, which is fine. Thanks. Brad Saucier
MZ-X has all of the PX-560 drum kits plus a whole lot more. I put together a chart that may help. MZ-X PX-560 Drum Kit Comparison.pdf
Jokeyman123
Thanks Brad. Looks like alot more percussion samples in the MZ-X after all.
Brad Saucier
Definitely. Even the classic Casio VL-1 and SK-1 samples are in there, not to mention you can add whatever samples you want to the MZX series.
Silvano Silva
Great advantage of MZ-X can add wave samples as well as edit a complete internal kit.
