Brad Saucier
Thanks for sharing! We have a downloads section which is organized by model. That would be a better place for your files. You'll find CT-X series in the community created files in our downloads section.

ConfusedRedditor16
Ooh that ep is beautiful, how do I load the .ton files to my ct-x5000? I realize that there might be other guides for this but I'm a bit of a newb
Just Alex
Just place it onto usb stick, into MUSICDAT folder. Press the set key, then press key "1" 3 times, then key "6" 3 times, use wheel to select tone, then press again key 6 and you're done. Strings are really nice, thanks! will add a bit of harsher strings as 2nd layer at lower voice, to give it more academic sound. Now they sound more like late Phil Spector-ish

Maybe editing the tone in the HEX editor .... Well, here, of course, you need to understand the binary code of the tone and you need to find what exactly needs to be changed in the code in order to unlock the tone file with the synthesizer. And it's not a fact that this is at all possible ...
