stevgil
Hello, I want to buy the above keyboard but want to use a sustain pedal with half pedalling which I believe is what the SP33 board does. However, it seems that this pedal is very difficult to come across and so I wouldn't want to use a 'normal' pedal. Does anybody know if there's another Casio pedal option for this keyboard? It seems that the SP34 has a similar connection so wouldn't this do it? Many thanks for any forthcoming help. Kind regards Steve
Brad Saucier
Hi Steve. Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately SP-34 is not compatible with the PX-560. The connection is different. SP-34 is designed for the PX-S and CDP-S model series digital pianos. SP-33 is the correct model for the PX-560 and does offer half damper operation. stevgil
Thanks for that Brad. I may go ahead and buy this keyboard with a view to hopefully finding a pedal. On the Casio UK website it appears that they no longer show this pedal, presumably because the keyboard is no longer manufactured, which I find a little strange as I was under the impression that this was their 'flagship' keyboard of sorts! Again, many thanks Steve
Jokeyman123
Not allowed to send a direct link here, but search eBay US-there are huge number of listings for the SP-33, new and used. I'm sure some suppliers will ship internationally.
