zepplin
Hello all, I've had my piano for a while and it used to connect to my previously owned PC but now it's not working on my new PC. I looked into it quite extensively and I'm aware that it's a USB to host connection as well as that the piano is class-compliant which means just plug and play. However, it does not alert me about a new device being connected to the PC nor does it show up in device manager. To make sure, I read the manual as well as the drivers page on the website but there's no specific driver for the model I have. It does say in the manual that the only OS it supports is Windows 7, 8, etc. Meanwhile I'm currently using Windows 10, so I'm thinking that is the problem but I can't understand the logic behind not supporting new OS. Curious to see if anyone has any insight on this topic, as I am completely stumped. Any info would be appreciated, thanks.
Brad Saucier
Windows 10 is supported, it's just not listed yet. A class compliant device means the driver is universal and supplied by, in this case, Microsoft. If the driver is not installing, it is either an issue with the cable, or Windows itself.
